Well, its been a long time coming, but I think I finally have the new blog for Griffin setup. It’s been a long time coming, but after a year of disappointment with Google, who have made it harder and harder to host your own site, with your materials residing on your own server – I gave up and finally went with wordpress. Its much more complicated than the original blogger template, but it offers some very cool additions, including the ability to handle video and photos with ease. The added benefit of having control over the content and look/feel of Griffin’s site is also very important to me.
As Griffin gets older, its my plan to give the site over to him completely. We’re in the digital age. His web identity will become more and more important (just like my mikekelleher.com address) and I want to make sure that he has control over it. In the meantime, I’ll continue to post pictures and video of Griffin right here, so that my family can enjoy seeing him grow.
